                        Details
Vintage may be presented either as Armagnac or Bas-Armagnac. Selection of distillations from different production areas of the designation. Ageing of each vintage harvest at the property and in Lannepax followed by blending of spirits from selected barrels of the vintage in order to create armagnacs of deep and intense character. Distinct wood with rich notes over spicy flavours and a finish of great aromatic length. Notes of rancio in spirits over 35 or 40 years old. Displayed in a wooden box.
                        About the house

Jacques de Chastenet de Puységur ‘ 1600 – 1682 ) was born in the shadows of the ancient towers of Puységur, which guad the left bank od the Gers River between Auch and Fleurance.
The Marquis was field Marshall and advisor to King Louis XIII and the father of Maréchal de Puységur ( 1656 – 1743 ) , Knight of the Orders of the King and of Saint-Louis.
Only an exceptional Armagnac could bear the name of such illustrious ancestors.
