Puységur Bas-Armagnac VSOP is distilled in Gers. Tasting eau-de-vie (aged in oak casks for a minimum of 4 years). Gold colour, aroma of stewed fruits over soft spiced flavours. Enveloping and bright on the palate. Woody and vanilla notes with a touch of fresh nut. Powerful. Also recommended for cocktails with a citrus soda.

About the house

Jacques de Chastenet de Puységur ‘ 1600 – 1682 ) was born in the shadows of the ancient towers of Puységur, which guad the left bank od the Gers River between Auch and Fleurance.

The Marquis was field Marshall and advisor to King Louis XIII and the father of Maréchal de Puységur ( 1656 – 1743 ) , Knight of the Orders of the King and of Saint-Louis.

Only an exceptional Armagnac could bear the name of such illustrious ancestors.
