Puységur Bas-Armagnac Hors d'Age is distilled in Gers. A nicely mature eau-de-vie (aged in oak casks for 12 years or more). Gold colour, verging on light amber. Rich bouquet of dried fruits (figs, nuts), vanilla notes, spiced flavours. Structured and ample, with a toasted finish.

About the house

Jacques de Chastenet de Puységur ‘ 1600 – 1682 ) was born in the shadows of the ancient towers of Puységur, which guad the left bank od the Gers River between Auch and Fleurance.

The Marquis was field Marshall and advisor to King Louis XIII and the father of Maréchal de Puységur ( 1656 – 1743 ) , Knight of the Orders of the King and of Saint-Louis.

Only an exceptional Armagnac could bear the name of such illustrious ancestors.
