About the house
The house of Ferté de Partenay in the little fortified town of Lannepax, located in the heart of the Bas-Armagnac, selects and ages the best eaux-de-vie and has one of the most beautiful collections of vintage Armagnacs.
As soon as it is distilled, the Armagnac is stored in 400 litre oak barrels. It is enriched over time with the aromas from the wood (vanilla, candied fruits, prunes…). It opens up and develops aromas that are more and more complex over time; it takes on an amber colour evolving to mahogany. Once at its full maturity we can truly appreciate its richness and power.
