Details
Armagnac Sempé was founded iin 1934 in Aignan by Abel Sempé. Abel sempé was very active within the secret army in the resistance during Second World War, for this reason he received War Cross Medal. After the Second World War he became mayor of Aignan, Gers General Advisor, and Senator. He was elected at the Republican Concil in 1955 at the same moment as Paul-Émile Descomps, in-charged of following the application of European Coal and Steel Community in November 1957. He died On 22nd of February 2006 within 94 years old, all his life he was an Armagnac Ambassador accross the Globe
About the house

The house of SEMPÉ is one of the most well known trading houses in Armagnac. It was founded in 1934 by Abel SEMPE, a Gascon, tirelessly working in the service for his country and his region.  He was a recognised member of the resistance for the Armagnac battalion, then Senator for the Gers for many years.Throughout his life he was very attached to the SEMPE brand.  He developed it around the world in the 1950s with beautiful presentations that were always more and more innovative.
